Rocker was bred in Welshpool by Lynn and Ceri Chapman. He is full Brother to Landis Rocketman who placed second at Badminton Grassroots and has a half-sister listed with GB in Para Dressage.
Stephanie bought Rocker as a fairly recently backed rising 6 year old from the Chapmans in 2019.
Rocker arrived at Hollins Court Farm in the Summer of 2021 having shown some early promise at unaffiliated level with many placings and wins, these came alongside some very cheeky moves! . Diminutive in size, but not in character, at only 14’3hh Vittoria was persuaded by his enthusiasm for life and particularly jumping to go back to ‘ponies’ and to compete him for his owner.
Rocker could not have more passion for his job, he is the most enthusiastic and cheerful cheeky character, he loves XC in every form more than anything else in the world.. Look out for your lunch if you see him at an event or on the yard, he is famous for stealing picnics and never misses a chance to pinch the teams crisps or snacks on a daily basis.
Rocker’s plan for 2024 is to consolidate his 2023 season at International CCI-1* level and continue his progression from there.
