DHI Jackpot, known to everyone as Jack, combines exceptional talent with a playful, people-loving personality that is impossible not to love. Already proven at 4★ level and with a commendable first (of hopefully many!) European Championships under his belt, he is now a serious contender for the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028. Jack is simply outstanding cross country, where his heart, confidence and athleticism truly shine. Together with his genuine, bold yet careful jump and expressive presence inside the whiteboards, Jack shows all the hallmarks of a future top-flight international horse.

The start of a very special partnership

Jack arrived with Vittoria at the beginning of the 2022 season, bringing with him a string of impressive double clears and a reputation for being a genuine, exciting young talent as he progressed through the lower levels.

Vittoria quickly realised that Jack had the potential to become an exciting future international team horse and is forever grateful to her wonderful owners, who stepped in to support her in purchasing him. From the outset, Jack was surrounded by belief, friendship and ambition: a particularly heartwarming part of Jack’s story is the way a group of amazing friends both old and new rallied behind their partnership, becoming proud members of Team Jackpot through a crowdfunding campaign.

The 2023 season proved Jack to be everything everyone had hoped he would be at this stage of his career. He delivered tremendous results throughout the year, culminating in an impressive 8th place in the CCI-S 4★ 8/9YO at Blenheim Palace International. On the road to Blenheim, he placed 4th and 6th in his two CCI-S 3★ starts and finished 2nd at Millstreet in his first CCI-L 3★, firmly establishing himself as one of the most exciting young horses of his generation.

After a well-earned winter break, Jack returned even stronger in 2024, consolidating his form at 4★ level. A highlight was another polished double clear at the highly competitive Bicton Arena CCI-S 4★, where he finished 21st in a huge field, continuing his reputation for consistency and class.

The 2025 season saw Vittoria and Jack getting back to doing what they do best together. With qualification for the European Championships firmly in their sights, they headed to Millstreet for the CCI-L 4★ and produced yet another classy double clear to finish 5th. It was a huge relief to secure the all-important qualification, but even more pleasing to see him do it in such style after relatively little prep time.

A strong prep run followed at Burnham Market CCI-S 4★ before the pair headed to Blenheim to represent Italy at the European Championships. This marked Jack’s international team debut and a proud return for Vittoria flying the Italian flag. The Blenheim track proved demanding and caught out many top combinations, so the team were delighted to see Jack and Vittoria come home as the top Italian combination, just picking up 11 penalties for a frangible pin activation. They finished 25th overall, following an unlucky and uncharacteristic pole in the showjumping - but the week was hugely exciting and confirmed Jack’s ability to deliver under true championship pressure.

Looking to the future: the road to LA

Jack has now proven himself at 4★ level, delivered confidently on a European Championship team, and continues to show all the attributes required for the very top of the sport. His consistency, bravery, athleticism and mindset - combined with his natural charisma and love of performing - place him firmly on a genuine Olympic pathway. With careful, tailored training and thoughtful competition planning, he is being developed to unlock that next-level wow factor and fulfil his enormous championship potential.

Everything about Jack suggests that his very best years are still ahead of him and that his journey toward the highest level of international eventing is only just beginning.
