Chatter On (Minxie)

Minxie came to Vittoria to start her eventing career mid way through the 2017 season as a 4yo. Minxie has a lovely willing nature, correct paces and a careful jump. She is one of the fastest horses on the circuit and tried her heart out! Minxie had a very successful 2018 season with numerous impressive results and many double clears. Minxie finished the season by stepping up to Novice level boldly. Minxie continued to produce fantastic results at Novice level throughout 2019 finishing off with a brilliant double clear at her first International in the CCI2*-S at Camphire to finish in 12th place, she continued to prove herself at 2* level in 2020 and 2021 with several good results .

In 2022 she stepped up to Intermediate level with much success with many double clears and top placings working her first 3*S at Barbury and then an 11th place in her first 3*L at Blair Castle, proving super speedy over the famous Blair hills.

Stepping up to Advanced in 2023 Minxie continued to prove her speed,
consistency and ability at this next level which culminated in a 16 th placing in her
first CCI-S 4*at Little Downham International. In the Intermediate Championships
at Gatcombe, Minxie was in the top three after dressage and showjumping and
was so unfortunate to miss out when the event had to be abandoned before XC.
She put the smile back on everyone’s faces three weeks later, placing 10 th in her
second Advanced run at Wellington International.

Minxie had a brilliant 2025 season with some great runs and placings at national level, including a 2^nd place in the Open Intermediate at Farley Hall. She then ran in a couple of CCIS-3* competitions in which she consistently finished in the top 20. Sadly she was unable to complete on the final day at the CCIL3* at Scone Palace as she picked up a minor injury, but she again impressed with such speed, agility and flair across country. She is by the far the fastest horse Vittoria has ever ridden and she makes the time look so achievable!
