Borough Tuppence is the second foal by Embryo Transfer out of Borough Pennyz, Vittoria’s legendary Olympic mare and by Timolin. She is absolutely stunning and has inherited the sire’s looks and paces and her mother’s bright eyes, strong character and incredible jump. She is a complete princess in character and so talented that she finds everything very easy.
After being backed in 2020, in 2021, Tuppence continued her education by going out to a few low level shows, including the Nexgen 4yo class, which she won! She also enjoyed trips out to local hunter trials, and took it all in her stride.
In 2022 she started her eventing career with runs at BR90 and BE100 level with many double clears and some placings.
In 2023 Tuppence completed her six year old season with confident progression exactly as planned. She placed fourth in her first BE105 and completed three BE Novices all easily double clear. To round off her season she beautifully completed her first Championship in the 6 year old CCI-S YH2* class at Cornbury and followed that up with another easy double clear in the CCI-S 2* at South of England.
2024 saw Tuppence stepping up to Intermediate level which she took in her stride!
Tuppence had a fabulous 2025 season. She came out really well after the winter and had an easy Open Novice run before stepping back up to Intermedidate at Farley Hall, where she won after a super dressage and double clear. She had another great run in the CCI-S3* at Burgham International to finish 20th with a double clear in a huge field. Finishing off the season she went to Bicton International to compete in the CCI-S3* where she did her best dressage at the level for 29.7, followed by her signature clear jumping rounds to finish in 2nd place to finish off her season in great style.
