Pridie was bought for Vittoria to produce during the summer of 2019. She is the most lovely and cuddly, eager to please mare, who is mature beyond her age with a down to earth temperament and is very easy to do making her a yard favourite! Pridie has lovely paces and showed her scope and bravery early on in her career during outings team chasing and hunting with the Ledbury. Pridie is a lovely stamp of a horse, with great conformation, and has a great careful jump on her.
Though the pandemic meant Pridie didn't get out eventing as much as we would have hoped during 2020 she was able to get a good few outings under her belt, and grew in confidence with every event, meaning she was able to crack on in 2021.
After another winter of maturing Pridie was able to take the step up to Novice / CCI2* in her stride, picking up lots of prizes on her way and will no doubt go up the levels further. She really impressed round the big, bold Novice track at Cornbury, as well as at the 2*S at Ballindenisk.
Pridie is such a lovely mare with the most kind and loving temperament and once Vittoria decided she needed a mare to carry an embryo transfer, she could not look past Pridie as the most perfect candidate. Vittoria is very excited that she is now in foal with an embryo by Rock King x Borough Tuppence. Due in the Spring of 2024.
