Vittoria

Vittoria Panizzon represented Italy at the 2008 Beijing Olympics with her horse, Rock Model, finishing 16th overall. She was also a member of the team that won the bronze medal for Italy in the 2007 European championships.

The Gloucestershire-based rider has represented her country at Pony, Junior, Young rider and Senior levels and has been a member of the national senior squad at major championships since 2005.

Vittoria’s father was Italian, her mother is Scottish and she grew up in Italy. At the age of 17, she moved to the UK to finish her education and to further her eventing career. She graduated in 2005 from Bristol University with a degree in Biology and is a member of the Italian Air Force sport group with the rank of First Aviator.

Vittoria currently has three Advanced rides as well as a promising team of novice horses, her top horses are her own Beijing ride, Rock Model, and Sally Bullen's exceptional jumper Borough Pennyz who is now established at 3* level with an excellent 6th placing in the Blenheim CCI*** as well as a 3rd in the Gatcombe Intermediate Championships. Merlot's Magic has also made his Advanced debut successfully, completing his season with an 8th in the CIC*** at Bramham and a 16th at Barbury.
